What's Ahead

Mailers Due on Wednesday April 11th.
Will discuss these again in class on Monday.
You don't have to board these at this time unless you wish.
Just want to see the actual mailer and how it would function.
Please make sure these are functional, meaning they could be addressed, stamped and dropped in the mail.
You should be thinking about how they might be laid out on your board for portfolio review.
Again, if you scale anything down just put that on your printed versions.
Depending on your mailer you might have more than one board.


Earth Day Posters (Optional) Due on Wednesday April 18th.
Again, this could be your specialty design if you so choose or you can create this
poster as an additional design for your client as it relates to Earth Day.
Don't forget that you can change up the paper stock if you wish on these...doesn't have to be printed on ink jet paper but other kinds of papers.
It's an Earth Day event so be creative. These should be fun to see.


Specialty Design Due on Monday April 23rd. (Final Critique)
Any type of design that you feel might highlight and strengthen the brand for your client.
You can have various items for this critique or perhaps only one.
More items doesn't make it better so just spend time creating a specialty item that will highlight the client and make them memorable or the item can
be more for PR or advertising. Be creative.

I will need a CD/DVD of all the work you completed for me during this semester at our last critique.
It can include anything and everything you've worked on from preliminary concepts to finished concepts. Whatever you feel might best demonstrate all your creative abilities during
the semester. It must contain logo, stationery, ads, mailers, earth day (optional) and specialty items and your final creative brief. Again, anything else like sketches and preliminary examples could be useful as well. Make sure your blogs are completed by this day. That means all the work (mentioned above) is on your blogs.
